James Hemp, MD

Dr. James Hemp received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He then completed his internship at University of California Davis Health, and completed his residency at U.S. Naval Hospital, and completed fellowships at Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center (Vascular Surgery) and Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center (Thoracic Surgery (Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery)).

Dr. Hemp specializes in Thoracic Surgery (Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery). He strives to provide high-quality and personalized care to his patients. He also stays abreast with the latest procedures and technology in his field.

Dr. Hemp is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is currently welcoming new patients at Scrips Health dba Scripps Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Center.
