Dr. Jose Lira received his medical degree from Universidad Nacional Mayor De San Marcos (Peru). He then completed his internship at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center, and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center, and completed his fellowship at St. Louis University School Of Medicine (Pulmonary Disease).

Dr. Lira specializes in Pulmonary Disease. He strives to provide high-quality and personalized care to his patients. He also stays abreast with the latest procedures and technology in his field.

Dr. Lira is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently welcoming new patients at SouthWest Pulmonary Medical Group.
